Da Vinci at the Science Centre
February 17, our class went to see the Da Vinci exhibit at the Science Centre. I really loved the exhibit. I learned lots of new things about Da Vinci. Many people simply know him for his incredible art work, such as the Mona Lisa. Another hobbie of Da Vinci was inventing. He created these wild, and at the time, unrealistic inventions. The exhibit was very well put together, and very imformative. If I could of changed one thing it would be that the people working the exhibit were not very nice. I mean, I get it, theres a bunch of teenagers and kids running around your exhibit, but yelling at us to put our cell phones away is unreasonable. As I understand that we arent allowed to take pictures, we weren't. I wish the workers were a little more accomidating.
The rest of the Science Centre was amazing as always. It brings back lots of memories, and wandering around the building was great. The Science Centre brings out the kids in all of us. Even though my friend Addie and I got lost, it was still fun. The hands on aspect of it is truly great. I would go back again in a heart beat.

A Plastic World
So my class watched a movie all about plastic. I know, we get to watch a movie and Waldeck picks an "educational" one. But whatever. So basically it told us everything we use has some form of plastic in it. This didn't surprise me, but still EVERYTHING! It's kind of pathetic how much we rely on plastic for everything we do. Of course they gave us all these ideas on how we could reduce our plastic use, but I don't seem them doing anything about it, so why would we. We're still young, lead by example people! I guess plastic is just one of those things that society relies on. Well many one day that'll change.
